We honor our past, provide support in the present, and invest in our nation's future through youth. Community service is at the heart of our Post.
We honor our past through participation in parades and patriotic holiday ceremonies.

VWF Post 3991 and Space Coast Young Marines at the Honor America Flag Day Ceremony, 2006
We invest in the future via the youth programs supported by our VFW Post:
The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) organization was established by Act of Congress and exists by Congressional Charter only. VFW Post 3991 is unique in that we do not have a "canteen," (bar.) We exist solely to support the mission of the V.F.W. which is to help those who can no longer help themselves, thus bringing honor to those who have fallen. No drinking or smoking are allowed at the Post. We generate revenue for our many public services solely through Buddy Poppy drives on Memorial Day and Veterans' Day weekends. In addition to the youth programs mentioned above, we serve at veterans homeless centers and at veterans' funerals as needed. VFW Post 3991 also supports the V.F.W. Children's Home in Eaton Rapids, Michigan; and the Florida Retirement Home in Fort McCoy, Florida.
If you are looking for a place where you can make a difference, Post 3991 is the place for you! All men and women who have worn the uniform of the U.S. armed forces and who have served in the field of battle are welcome to continue their service by helping fellow veterans.
